In partnership with NGA Learning and PhotoAccess, I undertook a residency at Goldfields Arts Centre, Kalgoorlie-Boulder - Australia's largest outback city. Supported by GAC and ArtGold, I delivered outreach workshops responding to NGA's Single Channel Touring Exhibition in Eastern Goldfields Regional Prison, alongside filmmaking workshops and school gallery visits.
Wongatha country's widescreen vistas, inspired a more expansive response in line with previous site-specific community based projects. As a modest proof of concept in a short time-frame, I sprayed the lyrics of songs with gold in their titles on the burnt wrecks of stolen cars.
